Automotive Technician at Town Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Wenatchee, WA 

Town Chrysler Jeep Dodge is seeking a Full Time Experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting dealership productivity and efficiency standards. As a Automotive Technician, you will work on vehicles of varying makes and models and provide high-quality repair, maintenance, and diagnostics services to our customers. Technicians work closely with our service advisors allowing the advisor to educate customers on vehicle maintenance and repair needs.

Duties and Responsibilities of an Automotive Technician:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Perform engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and electrical system repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify fault codes and other problems
  • Communicate effectively with customer service representatives and customers to explain repair procedures and provide estimates
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
  • Meet dealership productivity and efficiency standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair procedures
  • Ensure all repairs are completed within the agreed timeline and budget

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experienced Automotive Technician with a minimum of 2 years of shop experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent. All licenses must be converted to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

As part of the essential duties, this position requires operating motor vehicles and working with hazardous, fatal materials. The employee’s essential duties are such that impairment caused by drug or alcohol could result in significant injury or death.
